Training Muslimah Creativity, Forstudi FP Hold an Entrepreneur Workshop

Padang (27/11/18) – Forstudi (Islamic Study Forum) of FP (Agriculture Faculty) Unand (Andalas University) held aan entrepreneur workshop with the theme “Muslimah Preneur, Muslimah Kreatif dan Mandiri”. The event was held on Tuesday, November 27th 2018, at the 3rd floor of lecturer courtroom. The purpose of this event is as a first step to train the creativity of muslimah becoming entrepreneurs.
Participants at this event not only came from FP Unand, but also came from various departments in Unand, especially the members of Islamic Forum Study from all faculties in Unand.
According to Eva, as the chief executive, this event is a part of AIF (Agriculture Islamic Fair) which is Forstudi FP annual program.
“AIF is always be held in each year, but this entrepreneur workshop is firstly conducted in this year. We see artificial flower has a good marketing change, so we think it would be useful for muslimah, especially college students”. Explain Eva.
The workshop trained by Erit Bafrawita (an alumnus of FP) is about how to make a bouquet of flower that made by flannel. According to her, a bouquet of flowers has a potential market, regarding there are many graduations or other celebrations on campus.

“As long as there are opportunities, why do not we take it? Even the prophet Muhammad said, among the ten sources of sustenance, nine of them were trading”.
Erit also added that there will be pride when we are able to produce a work. We are not supposed to look at the money earned, but we should look at the value of the creativity we have. For that, a muslimah must be able to be creative without limits.
Melly, one of the participant said that this workshop is very useful to train muslimah creativity through the workshop given by the trainer. From this workshop, the participants get a new skill to be developed.
“This training could be our first step to be an entrepreneur.” She added.

    Agriculture Islamic Fair program is very good and beneficial. Beside this program there is a motivational da'wah that held on Friday, 30th 2018 at Al Kahfi Musholla.

Being One of the Best Colleges in Indonesia, Water Installation in the Unand Lecture Building Has Not Been Adequate.

Andalas University or commonly known as Unand is the oldest and largest campus in Sumatera. In addition, Unand also earned the nickname of the green campus because of its beautiful environment and many trees around it. However, this is inversely proportional to the facts that occur in the field. Water which is the main source of life is difficult to obtain in the Unand lecture building. Every afternoon, students usually queued to take ablutions in the toilet of each building. This queue gets longer because the water is of. The students took turns in taking ablution using the water in the tub using two available dips but the water in the tub was also often used up. This happens both in women's and men's toilets.
